Over recent days I have been photographing the handmade jewellery of Irish designer and maker Christina Keogh.
Silver jewellery, from handmade rings to cufflinks for the men has been the mainstay of what I have photographed for Christina in recent days. The modern Irish Designer | Maker fabricates her jewellery by hand from precious metals and stones, using traditional techniques and skills.
After completing the Crafts Council of Ireland’s Jewellery & Goldsmithing Course in 2011, Christina established a studio in Dublin where she designs and makes jewellery using silver, gold, precious stones and pearls.
In late October I travelled to Christina’s studio in Dublin to photograph some of her work ahead of taking a stand at the RDS Christmas Craft Fair in December. Some of the images I have previously taken for Christina have appeared in the Gift Guide for the RDS Christmas Craft Fair and on her website at www.christinakeogh.ie.
